Aims and Objectives

This Health and Safety Essentials training course has been designed to provide essential knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety for employees working in any sector

The aim is to provide employees with Health and Safety knowledge which will enable them to contribute to any Health and Safety Risk Management system.

Course Content

• Overview of the Health and Safety at Work regulations.
• Your responsibilities as employees.
• Causes of accidents and ill health.
• Workplace safety principles.
• Identification of hazards in the workplace - Manual handling, Fire prevention, Wearing PPE and Work at height.
• Importance of Health and Safety rules and procedures.
• Reporting potential Health and Safety problems, accidents and incidents.

Certification

All delegates who complete this course will be awarded the:

• Health and Safety Essentials Certificate of Attendance and Achievement
