Aims and Objectives

IOSH Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It is designed to give managers all they need to know to help them effectively manage health and safety in their workplace. The new high impact programme covers key health and safety issues, and also includes a section on environment protection.

Course Content

• Safety management.
• Active and reactive monitoring.
• Risk assessment and risk control.
• Reviews and auditing.
• Health and Safety legislation.
• Hazards: general and organisation specific.

Assessment and Certification

Assessment is based on project work and a final assessment. Successful candidates receive an IOSH accredited certificate. This course is approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
