Aims and Objectives

To ensure those who have control of, or supervise the use of, plant, equipment and systems covered by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998 have the requisite knowledge to be able to satisfactorily discharge their responsibilities.

• Understanding Human Error.
• Overview of the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
• Overview of the PUWER Regulations, 1998.
• Principles of Risk Assessment.
• Hazard Types within your business.
• Types of Machinery Guards.
• Typical Machinery Hazards.

Certification

All delegates who complete this course will be awarded the:

• Health and Safety: PUWER Assessor Certificate of Attendance and Achievement
